About our team
Rik Hardon was a fanatical athlete in his youth with only one dream: the Olympic Games. Many training sessions on the athletics track but ultimately he did not have the right talent mix. The environment and facilities also played a role. Dealing with competition tension and performing at the right moments could perhaps have been better. The dream was too far-fetched. Doesn't that apply to many sports talents? In the youth years, the pressure was too much on winning and performing and not on developing, growing, learning, and especially having fun.
In the years after his sports career, Rik developed in the business world where performing, and getting the best out of yourself and your team, is central just like in sports. Several top coaching courses later, that acquired knowledge turns out to be not only applicable to commercial business but certainly also to guiding athletes as a performance coach. In the past 15 years, Rik has coached several national champions on the athletics track, worked with internationals, and worked as a mental and sprint coach in other sports next to his leadership roles in business.

What is your own top? Making (young) athletes aware to enjoy the time fanatically involved in sports, discovering and developing your own route has been the motivation to start MYSPORTTALENT. It is your talent and you determine your route.
MYSPORTALENT is gegroeid tot een mooi team waarbij hordenloopsters Joan & Faye Hardon de logistiek verzorgen maar ook jeugd atletiek clinics geven. Daarnaast kun je clinics krijgen bij Olympisch taekwondoka Reshmie Oogink of een follow-up doen met een voedingsdeskundige, sportfysio of sportpsycholoog. We zijn in diverse sporten actief waaronder schaatsen en taekwondo, tevens verzorgt Rik Hardon de de sprintcoaching bij het eredivisie team van FC Twente. In het hele traject rond de topsporter werken we met een betrouwbaar netwerk van professionals die jou verder kunnen helpen jouw talent te ontplooien.
